Artsakh leader attends opening of new community center in Askeran
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan on Monday attended a solemn ceremony of opening the newly built community center in Krasni village of Askeran region.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund for the implementation of the project, his office told Panorama.am.
Sahakyan considered symbolic that the community center bears the name of philanthropist Hakob Baghdasaryan, who always supported Artsakha and took part in the development of the country. The president greeted the philanthropist's widow and children.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Artsakh National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, as well as other officials and representatives from Armenia and the Diaspora took part in the event.
