Azerbaijani DJ detained for 10 days for playing Armenian music
Azeri DJ Abdul Naliyev has been arrested in Azerbaijan for playing Armenian music, Lenta.ru reported, citing report of the local Yenicag news outlet.
According to the source, the incident took on July 21 in rest area “Malibu” in Nabran settlement, where the DJ played an Armenian music for the visitors of the recreational area.
Some of the guests complained about the music and reportedly called law enforcement that arrived at the scene, forcing the DJ to switch off the music.
The DJ has resisted the police and ultimately was brought to the police station. In his explanation, Naliyev informed he took the audio file from the computer of the boss of the rest area. Investigation is underway with the DJ detained for ten days, the report said.
