Artsakh soldier dies in accident
A contact serviceman of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army died as a result of an accident on Sunday.
According to preliminary reports, the soldier, identified as Armen R. Hovakimyan, 36, died while swimming in a lake on 5 August, at about 5:30pm local time, the Artsakh Defense Ministry told Panorama.am.
A probe has been launched into the circumstances of the deadly incident.
The Defense Ministry says it shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its condolences to the family, relatives and fellow servicemen of the deceased soldier.
