Armenia’s Aram Avagyan to face Russian Evgeny Smirnov for WBC Int'l Silver
Professional Armenian boxer Aram Avagyan is set defend the WBC International Silver belt against top Russian boxer Evgeny Smirnov on 21 September, the Boxing Federation of Armenia told Panorama.am.
The 24-year old Armenian boxer has won 13 of his bouts and drew only one in his professional career started in 2016.
The upcoming bout is interesting in a sense that both athletes are invincible so far. Avagyan has won all his previous 8 fights.
In one of his recent fights, Russia’s Smirnov has defeated Baina Mazola, a leading boxer from Tanzania.
