Armenian freestyle wrestlers grab 3 gold, 2 bronze at European C'ship
Armenian freestyle wrestlers have captured 5 medals, including 3 gold and 2 bronze, at the U23 European Championships hosted by Rome.
Young Armenian wrestlers Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg), Vazgen Tevanyan (61 kg) and Hovhannes Maghakyan (125 kg) claimed gold medals at the European championship, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs told Panorama.am.
Athletes Gegham Galstyan (65kg) and Arman Andriasyan (70kg) became bronze medallists at the championship, the ministry said.
In medal count, the Armenian team finished third.
The Armenian freestyle wrestlers are expected to return Yerevan from Rome late on Monday.
