Bangladeshi trespasser detained at Armenian-Turkish border
Russian border guards serving in Armenia have detained a man who illegally crossed the Armenian-Turkish border.
According to preliminary check, the trespasser holds the citizenship of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Russian Border Guard Department of the Federal Security Service in Armenia told Panorama.am.
The man has been handed over to the Armenian law enforcement agencies, the department said.
Investigation is underway to look into the details of the incident.
This is the third border trespassing case over the past two weeks, when the Russian guards detained Afghan and Turkish citizens on the Armenian-Turkish border.
