Armenian athletes grab bronze at men’s synchro dive of European C'ship
Armenian divers Vladimir Harutyunyan and Lev Sargsyan captured bronze on Thursday at men’s synchronized 10m platform event of the 2018 European Championships taking place in the UK from 6 to 12 August.
The Armenian divers only legged behind the teams of Russia and Great Britain that took the first and second spots respectively, the sports and youth affairs ministry told Panorama.am.
The Armenian duo of Vladimir and Azat Harutyunyan brothers is set to compete at men’s 3m synchro springboard event on Friday, while another Armenian pair of Lev Sargsyan and Vartan Bayanduryan will perform at 10m platform event on 12 August.
The Armenian diving team led by head coach Hrachya Chandiryan features four athletes at the European championship – Vladimir Harutyunyan, Azat Harutyunyan, Lev Sargsyan and Vartan Bayanduryan.
