Petrol, diesel fuel prices up in Armenia in July
July 2018 saw a 0.5% price cut in the non-food product market of Armenia to compare with June of the ongoing year, the latest statistics show.
According to the figures released by the National Statistical Service (NSS), prices for shoes and clothes dropped by 3% and 3.7% respectively last month. The prices for cleaning and washing agents, household items, construction materials, jewellery, pharmaceutical products and other items also decreased in July.
The petrol prices remained unchanged in July from June 2018, while diesel fuel prices grew by 1.5%. The petrol and diesel fuel prices, however, rose by 17.1% and 27.9%, respectively, to compare with July 2017, while an increase of 9.3% and 22.5% was observed in their prices against December 2017.
