Political analyst Shirinyan plans to create new party, run in snap parliamentary elections
Political analyst Levon Shirinyan has unveiled a decision to create a new party and run in Armenia’s upcoming snap parliamentary elections.
In a post on Facebook on Thursday evening, the analyst says the new political party to be set up with a group of supporters will be called Christian Democratic Party of Armenia.
“Thus, I, together with my supporters, will have my input into rebuilding our homeland and establishing the Fourth Republic. I am confident the Armenia to be created through our efforts will be a scientific and industrial complex with a highly developed culture, expanding borders and repatriation,” he wrote, promising to release more details in the future.
