Emergencies ministry reports 15 poisoning cases in Armenia over past week
The National Crisis Management Center of the Armenian emergencies ministry registered a total of 607 cases over the past week, 346 of which are emergency cases.
193 household calls, 253 fires and 59 road traffic accidents were recorded from 6 to 12 August, leaving four people dead and 60 others injured, while four people were rescued due to the operations conducted by the center, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Bad weather conditions caused three vehicles to get stuck in the mentioned period, during which rescuers provided assistance to one person and took 10 vehicles to a safe place.
The Crisis Management Center registered 22 cases of snake detection in the indicated period. Also, the past week saw 15 poisoning cases, which affected 15 citizens.
The emergencies ministry urges the public to be vigilant and preserve the basic safety rules.
