Passenger dies in Yerevan road accident
A person died in a tragic road accident in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, on Tuesday, the emergencies ministry told Panorama.am.
One fire and rescue squad of the ministry left for the scene after 911 received the report on Tuesday, at 1:15am, to find out that a BMW car, driven by a 29-year old man, crashed into an outdoor lighting column on Yerevan’s Isakov Avenue.
As a result, BMW’s passenger (unidentified) was found dead some three meters off the vehicle, the ministry said.
The rescuers closed the gas valve of the car and washed out the road.
