NSS head: Biggest findings have not yet been made in Armenia
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) has scored major achievements within 100 days, NSS Director Artur Vanetsyan told reporters after today’s Cabinet meeting.
He stressed over the course of these 100 days, the money they have recovered and returned to the state budget exceeds the returned sum in 2017 by 8 to 9 times.
However, Vanetsyan says the biggest findings have not yet been made.
Meanwhile, he refused to comment on the former activities of the security agency, stating he can speak of the NSS’s work starting from 10 May 2018, when he began heading the structure.
“I’m not a politician. I do not make political statements or comments in general,” he added.
According to him, the NSS’s productive world in these 100 days is conditioned with the present-day situation in the country, the new prime minister’s and government’s approaches, that ‘strongly differ from the approaches of the former authorities.’
