MES warns against direct sun rays from 11:00 to 15:00 in the coming days
Rain with thunderstorm is predicted in the evening of August 21-22 in northern regions rain with thunderstorm is predicted. On August 23-25 no precipitation is predicted, Hydromet Meteorological Service of Armenia's ministry of emergency situations (MES) reported
Southwest wind speed is 5-10 m/s, during the thunderstorm wind speed may reach up to 18-23 m/s. The air temperature on August 21-25 will gradually go up by 5-7 degrees.
As the Service warns the index of ultraviolet rays is predicted to reach 6, so it's recommended to avoid direct sun rays during the period from 11:00 to 15:00.
In capital Yerevan, in the evening of August 20 short rain with thunderstorm is predicted, during the thunderstorm wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s. On August 23-25 no precipitation is predicted.
