368 emergency cases recorded over the past week in Armenia
368 emergency cases have been registered in the Crisis Management National Center at Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations (MES) over the past week. As the ministry details in a released press statement, the number included 164 household calls, 273 fires and 65 road traffic accidents (RTA) as a result of which 6 people died and 86 were injured and 13 citizens were rescued as a result of rescue operations.
8 cases of vehicle blocking due to bad weather conditions have been registered. Rescuers provided assistance to 9 citizens and 8 vehicles were taken to a safe place. 22 cases of snake detection have been registered, the source added.
12 cases of poisoning were registered during the week, as a result 15citizens were injured and one died. MES urges both in everyday life and on roads to be as vigilant as possible and preserve elementary safety rules.
