London-based doctor Vrej Nersessian donated manuscripts to the Matenadaran
The Reverend Doctor of NAS RA Vrej N. Nersessian (senior priest of the Armenian Apostolic Church) donated four Ethiopian manuscripts of the XVII-XVIII centuries (The Gospel, speeches, sermons) to the Matenadaran named after Mesrop Mashtots. As the Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts posted on Facebook,
the Director of the Matenadaran Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan expressed gratitude to the honored Armenologist for replenishing the Matenadaran's manuscript collection.
Ter-Nerses Senior Priest Nersessian was awarded the Doctor of Theology by the Heythrop College, University of London in 2017. Vrej Nersessian was the Curator of the Christian Middle East Section at the British Library for many years (1975-2012), the source details.
