Four killed in tragic road accident in Armenian region
Four people, including children, were killed in a tragic accident in Armenia’s Armavir Province on Tuesday.
Armenia’s emergencies ministry received a report about a road accident in the intersection of Lernagog and Karakert villages at around 8:39pm, the ministry told Panorama.am.
One fire and rescue squad of the ministry left for the scene to find out that a Vaz 2107 car had collided with an Opel Vectra at the 2nd km of Karakert-Arteni roadway to hit a SCANIA truck parked on the road afterwards, leaving four people dead.
Before the rescuers’ arrival, the bodies of the driver of Vaz 2107 (b. 1976) and another passenger (b. 2011) were transferred to Aramvir Medical Center through local efforts, while the bodies of the two other passengers were removed from the vehicle through joint efforts of rescuers and local residents.
