Yerevan Opera Theater performed “Carmen” in Dubai
The Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera performed “Carmen” opera on the Dubai Opera stage On September 6 and 7. The performance that took place in the scope of the Opera theatre tour to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia, UAE, was attended by Armenian Ambassador to UAE Gegham Gharibjanyan. state officials and representatives of diplomatic corps. Armenia’s ministry of foreign affairs reports that “Carmen” will be performed on September 8 as well.
The Opera theatre led by Artistic Director Constantine Orbelian is set to perform another production in Dubai - the Magic Flute, by one of the most celebrated composers of all time Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The spectacle will debut the coming week or three consecutive nights - on September 13-15, the source said.
