Armenian, Georgian PMs tour Yerevan Brandy Company
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday hosted an official dinner in honor of Georgia’s Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze who was in Armenia on an official visit.
After the dinner, the Armenian and Georgian PMs headed for the Ararat Museum of the Yerevan Brandy Company to familiarize themselves with the history and the production process of Ararat, the Armenian cognac.
The officials were shown the so-called Barrel of Peace, in which brandy spirit has been stored since the 1994 ceasefire arrangement. It is called the Barrel of Peace because it will be opened only when the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is settled.
Pashinyan and Bakhtadze signed the Book of Honorary Guests and attended a ceremony of founding registered barrels in honor of the visit of Armenian and Georgian PMs.
The Georgian premier’s official visit to Armenia completed in the evening. PM Pashinyan went to Zvartnots International Airport to see off Mamuku Bakhtadze and his delegation back to Georgia.
