Armenian FM to address UN human rights session in Geneva
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is paying a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland on 12-13 September to take part in the upcoming session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
The top Armenian official will deliver opening remarks at the high-level panel dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide as part of the 39th session on 13 September.
He is set to deliver a speech at the UN human rights session on the same day, the Foreign Ministry told Panorama.am.
Mnatsakanyan is also expected to hold a meeting with the new UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet.
