Azerbaijan shells Armenian border village of Baghanis
Azerbaijani military opened fire toward the border village of Baghanis in Armenia's Tavush region on Tuesday evening, the village mayor, Narek Sahakyan told Panorama.am.
Meantime, he said the gunshots have not caused any damage to the residence.
“The shelling lasted for some 5-7 minutes. There are no damages. The situation was calm at night,” he said, adding the calm situation maintains in the village at the moment.
Azerbaijan’s armed forces fired the village a few days ago as well.
Azerbaijani fire has also targeted Vazashen village. One Facebook user has posted a video from the shooting, which caused panic among dancing children.
