Works on organizing Pashinyan-Trump meeting underway – Armenian FM
Works on organizing a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US President Donald Trump are in process, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters after today’s Cabinet meeting.
“The process for a Pashinyan-Trump meeting takes time; we are working with the United States, we have various platforms to work together, and the issue shall reach a settlement,” he said.
“In the nearest future we will hear about bilateral meetings on different levels that will lead to a higher-level meeting. I cannot predict a hasty meeting at the moment,” he added.
Meantime, Mnatsakanyan stated no Pashinyan-Trump meeting is expected on the sidelines of the upcoming UN General Assembly in New York.
