Putin wishes peace and welfare to the citizens of Armenia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and the Armenian people on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.
“I offer my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency on Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia. I note with satisfaction the friendly and allied nature of the relations between our countries, the high level of cooperation in the trade, military-technical, humanitarian and other spheres,” reads the message in part.
Russian president then expresses confidence the expansion of the scope of Armenian-Russian partnering ties is in line with the fundamental interests of the two people and develops through the course of securing stability and security in the region.
“I sincerely wish You robust health and success as well as peace and welfare to the Armenian citizens,” the message concluded.
