Diamond and jewelry production growing in Armenia
The volumes of diamond and jewelry production have grown in Armenia, according to the data release by the country’s National Statistical Service (NSS).
The newly released data suggest, 129,490 carats diamonds were produced in January-July 2018, which is 22.1% increase over the volumes produced during the indicated period last year. The total production amounts for the first nine months of the ongoing year amounted to 106,74 karats.
According to NSS data, 1,568.4kg of jewelry were produced in Armenia in January-July 2018, which is 18.4% more to compare with the last year’s volumes.
