Yerevan municipal elections recorded preliminary voter turnout at 43.65%
370,323 citizens or 43.65% of the total number of eligible voters cast ballots at Yerevan Council Elections held on Sunday as the municipal polls closed in the Armenian capital at 20:00 local time, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) reported. The total number of eligible voters was 848.343 people.
As the CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan informed, the data are preliminary and have been received electronically. In his words, the official website of the Electoral Commission will post live updates of the premilitary results starting at midnight.
