Armenia’s bread production on the decline
Bread production volumes kept dropping in Armenia over the past few months, according to the latest figures released by the National Statistical Committee.
Armenia produced 156,300 tons of bread from January to July 2018, down by 2.4 percent from the same period last year when a total of 160,200 tons were produced.
The first seven months of this year also saw a sharp decline in flour production, which dropped by 24.2 percent to some 71,922 tons from 94,873 tons of January-July last year.
