Armenian, Canadian PMs meet in New York
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of a UN conference in New York. The PM’s Spokesperson Arman Yeghoyan has shared a photo of the two leaders chatting ahead of the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit opening which is General Assembly High-level Plenary on Global Peace.
“Unexpected meeting before the opening of the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit,” Yeghoyan wrote in the post.
This is the second meeting of the leaders. Earlier, Pashinyan had informal meeting with Justin Trudeau in July on the sidelines of NATO summit in Brussels.
To note, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to arrive in Yerevan from October 11 to 13 to attend the XVII Francophonie Summit.
