Russian gas supplies to Armenia to be suspended for two days
Supplies of Russian natural gas to Armenia will be suspended on Monday, 24 September, due to repairs on a pipeline in Georgia, Gazprom Armenia’s press service told Panorama.am.
Supplies will resume on Wednesday, 26 September, after the completion of restoration and renovation works on the North Caucasus-Transcaucasus pipeline transporting Russian gas to Armenia via Georgia.
Gas supplies will be suspended in the country at 7pm.
In the meantime, the company says, consumers will not be affected by the incident, since they will be provided with uninterrupted gas supplies from domestic reserves.
