Group of Russian women to visit Artsakh in the scope of “Women for Peace” initiative
A group of Russian women will visit Armenia and Artsakh on October 5-7 in the scope of “Women for Peace” movement initiated by Anna Hakobyan, the spouse of Armenian Prime Minister. As the office of the PM’s spouse reported in a release, the group comprises public and political figures as well as representing public-political, culture, sport and media spheres.
According to the programme, the group will arrive in Yerevan on October 7 and will head for Artsakh the next day accompanied by the PM’s spouse. They are set to visit the frontline and send their message of peace to the conflicting parties.
To remind, “Women for peace” campaign has the main mission to contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, establish peace for the sake of preserving the young lives standing at both sides of the border.
