Groundbreaking ceremony of a new kindergarten took place in Baghanis border village
The groundbreaking ceremony of a new kindergarten took place today in Baghanis border village of Armenia, mayor Narek Sahakyan wrote on Facebook. The decision of building a new kindergarten with a shelter was made by Armenia’s previous cabinet, following the constant Azerbaijani shelling that had severely damaged the old building and left in a precarious condition.
The new building will be constructed by the funding of the US-based Paros Foundation in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross. The new building will cover a total of 110 square meters with shelters to keep children safe in case of shelling.
