Artsakh soldier killed following gunshot injury
Today, at around 10:50, Artsakh Defense Army soldier identified as Gevorg Suren Haroyan (b. 1997) sustained a gunshot wound in unclear circumstances in one of the military bases of Karabakh Defense Army located in the southeastern direction.
As Artsakh defense ministry reported in a press release, the soldier died on the way to hospital due to the gunshot wound. A probe is underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
The Defense Ministry of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia share the grief of the loss and extends its condolences to the family members, relatives and fellow servicemen of the deceased soldier.
