Armenia’s natural juice production drops in eight months
Natural juice production declined in Armenia in the first eight months of 2018, according to the attest figures released by the National Statistical Service.
The country produced 7 million 166.6 thousand liters of natural juice from January to August this year, down by 2.7% from the same period last year.
According to the statistics, Armenia’s tomato juice production dropped almost by half in the mentioned period to stand at 274,900 liters.
Meantime, the first eight months saw a 16.8% rise in production of non-alcoholic beverages, which amounted to 70 million 983.3 thousand liters. Armenia's syrup production also rose by 1% to 6 million 891.7 thousand liters this year.
