Moscow welcomes positive trends in Karabakh peace process - Russian MFA
Moscow welcomes all positive trends in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Thursday at a briefing. In Zakharova’s words, it is important to continue and avoid damaging the process through unnecessary rhetoric that has been the case over the recent period.
"For our part, we will render all the necessary assistance to these positive trends," added the Russian diplomat, as quoted by TASS agency.
To remind, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan announced days ago that arrangements aimed at reducing tensions across the Artsakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact had been obtained with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Dushanbe.
