Deceased Deputy Prosecutor General Sahak Karapetyan was in charge of Skripal’s case
Russia, who perished as a result of a helicopter crash in the Kostroma region, headed the General Directorate for International Legal Cooperation and was in charge of international cooperation, transport, and customs, Alexander Kurennoy, spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
According to Kurennoy, Karapetyan dealt with the case of the poisoning of the former GRU employee Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in UK Salisbury.
“They were preparing inquiries, including to the ICR, concerning the case of Skripal. But these requests remained unanswered,” said the representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It is reminded, the crash of the Eurocopter AS-350 B3 helicopter in the Soligach district of the Kostroma region killed 4 people, including nephew of the Deputy Prosecutor General Arek Karapetyan and pilot Stanislav Mikhnov.
