Statement about Nagorno Karabakh conflict to be included in the final resolution of the Francophonie Summit - -Armenian FM
The Heads of States and governments attending the 17th Francophone Summit in Yerevan will adopt six resolutions in conclusion of the Summit, Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters, adding one of the resolutions will refer to political issues, including a reference to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
In Mnatsakanyan’s words, after the political changes occurred in Armenia, the organization of the Summit testifies the capability Armenia in organizaing major events.
“Despite inter-political developments, a political will was shown to ensure in the best possible way the smooth organization of the Francophone Summit,” the minister said.
The Armenian minister also highlighted the prospects for development between Armenian and African countries in the context of the Summit. Mnatsakanyan assured the Francophone Summit will make Armenian more recognizable in the African continent to elaborate on economic cooperation and attract potentials investors.
