Armenian PM says ready to meet PAP leader
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says he is ready to hold a meeting with Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan to discusses the current situation in the country.
“Certain events have taken place during my Paris visit, which we will definitely take into account. It namely refers to Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan’s interview,” he told reporters in a briefing on Monday.
During the meeting, they will discuss the possible scenarios for dealing with the situation, the PM added.
Pashinyan also said a meeting with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) is also expected.
“During my stay in Paris, I had some contacts with representatives of the ARF-D’s Diaspora structures. I believe we will hold discussions,” he said,
In an interview on Saturday, Tsarukyan backed Pashinyan’s plan to hold snap elections to the National Assembly in December.
