Russian border guards detain trespasser at Armenian-Turkish border
Russian border guards serving in Armenia apprehended on Sunday a man who illegally crossed the Armenian-Turkish border.
The guards have not found any identification documents with the trespasser, who, according to preliminary check, holds the citizenship of Iran, the Border Guard Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia told Panorama.am.
The man crossed the border to avoid military service, the Russian border guards say.
The trespasser has been handed over to the Armenian law enforcement agencies, the department said.
