ARF-D voices full support to Armenian PM
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting on Tuesday with the head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) faction, Armen Rustamyan, faction member Spartak Seyranyan and ARF-D Supreme Council representative Arsen Hambardzumyan to discuss the domestic political situation in the country.
Pashinyan attached special importance to the dialogue, highlighting ARF-D’s role in the Armenian political life, the PM’s office told Panorama.am.
“I hope that our talks and political processes will follow the logic of continuing cooperation, and we are naturally ready to do everything possible for that,” he said.
Rustamyan, for his part, stated that ARF-D is a party with its solid ideas and political positions which will remain unchanged irrespective of the developments taking place in the country’s domestic political life.
“We are confident that we should continue cooperating with each other for the sake of our country, our state, for dealing with both domestic and foreign challenges facing our country. In this respect, ARF-D’s full support has always existed and will exist,” he said.
“In this phase, it is really important that we find solutions to the issues based on mutual respect, by listening to and combining each other’s views since healthy cooperation also supposes discussions and, why not, also debates. I am confident that we will be able to reach a common conclusion as a result, since we, in fact, pursue the same goal,” Rustamyan said, adding that the party has highly valued the revolution from the very beginning and believes that it has yet stages to pass through.
“We need to rearrange ourselves and embark on rapid building, and here you can always count on our full support,” he stressed.
