Kocharyan plans to create new political party
Second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan has unveiled his plans to establish a new political party and become opposition.
“If you return to politics, you should think about it,” he said in an interview to RIA Novosti Russian news agency, commenting on the question whether he has any plans to form his own political party.
He said the name of the party is not a key issue.
“I see a serious vacuum in today’s opposition field and I believe it should be filled for the benefit of the country,” Kocharyan said.
