Armenian parliament speaker offers condolences over Kerch tragedy
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Babloyan has extended condolences over the deadly Kerch college attack.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragedy at Kerch college, which killed and injured multiple people.
We offer our deepest condolences and sympathy to the families and friends of the deceased and wish a swift recovery to the injured," he said in a message.
On Wednesday, an 18-year old student named Vladislav Roslyakov opened fire and staged an explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College in Crimea. He later committed suicide. The criminal case was initially opened over an act of terrorism but was later reclassified as murder.
20 people, including 15 students and 5 employees, died in the college attack. Around 50 people were injured, TASS said.
Three days of mourning were declared in Crimea on Thursday.
