National Assembly announces extraordinary session to debate Armenia’s Electoral Code
The Speaker of Armenian parliament signed decision, Armenian parliament will convene extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly on October 29, at 11:00. The relevant decision was signed by Speaker Babloyan under Article 100 of the RA Constitution and the Article 41 of the RA Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,
To remind, after the rejection in the first reading, the petition on holding fresh round of discussions and voting on the amendments to Armenia’s Electoral Code in an extraordinary session on Monday has collected the required amount of signatures, Tsarukyan faction MP Naira Zohrabyan told reporters on Tuesday.
29 out of the needed 27 lawmakers have signed the petition launched by Yelk and Tsarukyan Alliance factions.
