Bolton says Karabakh conflict is of strategic importance
U.S. national-security adviser John Bolton has raised the issue of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict during talks with Azerbaijani leadership. According to the report by TASS agency, Bolton remarks came at a press conference in Baku.
“I have come here to get familiarized with the issue in detail. The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will affect the establishment of peace in the region, as well as in the world. From a strategic point of view, it is important for the US as well, Bolton added.
He added that As OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing country the US will remain committed to the peaceful settlement of the conflict.”
To note, the U.S. national security adviser is paying regional visit to Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, and Georgia.
