Famous pianist Boris Berezovsky to perform in the scope of the 6th Khachaturian International Festival
Famous Russian pianist Boris Berezovsky will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (ASSO) on October 31 in Yerevan. The concert is held in the scope of the 6th Khachaturian International Festival and will be conducted by ASSO Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
As the State Symphony Orchestra reported in a press release, the concert will feature Aram Khachaturian Piano Concerto.
Berezovsky is known for his love for Khachaturian music and confessed once he was always happy to play the works of the Armenian composer who had created pure and sincere pieces of music.
During the event, the State Symphony Orchestra will perform also Aram Khachaturian’s Symphony No.1.
To note, Khachaturian International Festival is organized by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra with the support of the RA Ministry of Culture.
