Man armed with a grenade attempted to enter the government building in Yerevan
An unidentified person armed with a hand grenade has attempted to enter the government building in capital Yerevan on Saturday, acting Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan has told Azatutyun radio station.
According to the source, the person has been detained and moved to the country’s National Security Service. According to initial reports, social and health problems were among possible motivation for the conduct.
To note, police officers and rescuer currently work outside the government building. According to the latest report, no incidents with fire safety were identified inside the building.
