Armenian director wins top prize at Bishkek int. festival
Two Armenian filmmakers have won awards at the 6th Annual International Festival of Young Cinema of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia said on Facebook.
‘The Moon, the Sun and the Three Musketeers’ directed by Vahagn Khachatryan has won the Best Documentary category, picking up the top prize that features the face of renowned Kyrgyz author Chinghiz Aitmatov.
Another young filmmaker Guz Tadevosyan’s “One Day” movie has received a special diploma from the jury.
