Nikol Pashinyan to attend CSTO meeting in Astana
The acting Prime Minister of Armenian, Nikol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 8-9, the RA government's information and public relations department reports.
Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Astana.
During the visit, the Acting Prime Minister will meet with representatives of the local Armenian community.
According to the CSTO official website, some issues will be discussed in narrow format. The other issues will be discussed at the plenary session, attended by Foreign Ministers of the Organization's member states and CSTO Secretary General Valery Semerikov.
Joint meetings of the Foreign Ministers, Defense and Security Councils of the member states will be held in Astana. There are 24 issues on the agenda, 15 of which will be discussed by the heads of the states.
At present the organization is headed by Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan will take over the presidency in 2018-1919.
