Armenia and Kazakhstan to continue cooperation in defense sphere
Within the framework of the joint session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense Ministers and the Secretaries of Security Councils of the CSTO member states, the acting Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan met with the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Nurlan Yermekbayev.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of mutual interest were discussed, the sides underlined the importance of expanding cooperation between the countries, Defense Ministry’s press office informed.
The sides noted the high level of cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense as well as the joint active participation of the armed forces subdivisions in operative and military drills carried out both in CSTO and CIS formats and in the framework of International Army Games.
The heads of defense ministries have expressed readiness to continue links in the fields of military and military-technical cooperation.
