Pashinyan visits military base, follows special tactical drills
Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited on Friday the military base of one of the Armenian Defense Ministry’s military units to follow the special tactical drills, his office told Panorama.am.
Pashinyan was accompanied by acting Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and First Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff, Major-General Onik Gasparyan.
The acting PM got acquainted with the current situation on the frontline and was briefed on the engineering and border strengthening structures, the new technologies for ensuring reliable protection, the works aimed at increasing the security of the staff in the posts and the technical equipment.
He followed the tactical drills on complicated mountainous area during which the attack tactical groups acted for improvement of frontlines.
Pashinyan talked to the soldiers and commanding staff and thanked them for their dedicated service. He encouraged the servicemen and wished them strong health and peaceful service.
