Armenia’s Yura Movsisyan hails ‘great team victory’ in Gibraltar clash
Leading Armenian footballer Yura Movsisyan has praised the performance of the Armenian national team against Gibraltar on Friday.
The Chicago Fire forward scored four goals as Armenia beat Gibraltar 6-2 in Group D4 of the UEFA Nations League.
“Great Team Victory in Gibraltar... oh and x4 goals #GoArmenia," the player said in a Facebook post.
Movsisyan became the first player to make a haul in the history of the Armenian national football team.
Artur Kartashyan and Aleksander Karapetyan also scored for the Armenian team during the match.
Armenia lost the first match to Gibraltar 0-1 in Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on 10 October.
The national team is now set to face Liechtenstein on November 19.
