Armenian version of John Green’s ‘Turtles All the Way Down’ to be presented on Nov. 24
‘Turtles All the Way Down’, a bestseller by American writer John Green, has been translated into Armenian, with the book presentation set for 24 November at Bukinist bookstore in downtown Yerevan.
The novel translated into Armenian by Lia Asatryan has been published by Edit Print publishing house.
The prize-winning author of ‘Looking for Alaska’ and ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ now shares the story of Aza in his new, brilliant novel of love, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendship.
“Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there's a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett's son, Davis. Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts,” reads the book description.
Lia Asatryan says she enjoyed translating the book, stressing the readership will definitely find the sincerity they seek in every book in ‘Turtles All the Way Down’.
