Nikol Pashinyan urges international partners to treat Armenia duly
"All our international partners should understand that they will not have the type of relations they are used to with Armenia. I am getting the impression that many try to treat us as a small country, maybe because we are a small nation, but I am telling you that it will not be accepted, we are a great nation, we are a nation of generals. We did something in April-May towhich there is no precedent in the history of humanity," Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with community leaders in Gegharkunik region, referring to Armenia's relations with Belarus.
"Our people and government are able to protect the interests of our country, and everyone should take it into account," he said.
"The well-being of the country is based on individual's efforts. We want to encourage labor and we believe that our generations can ensure their well-being," said Nikol Pashinyan referring to the country’s economic situation.
"The most important peculiarity of the new revolutionary stage is the encouragement of labor. We need to help and support people to eliminate the psychology of being at someone else's mercy in Armenia, " he said.
Referring to bribe-taking, the PM reiterated his commitment to fight corruption and assured that anyone who has taken a bribe will be punished and urged to take the message seriously.
